This package allows tradesmen and women the opportunity to enter the workforce in rapid time by being industry compliant and fully conversant with all legislative requirements associated with their working in the Australian construction industry.
The Hit the Ground Running package includes:
- AQF Level III Qualification;
- General Safety Induction Card (GSI);
- Business Management Course (BMC) (if required in the state of residence);
- The facilitation of paperwork for the licence application;
- Association membership.

What if I don’t do this package?
- No work can be undertaken on a worksite in Australia without a General Safety Induction Card. There are heavy fines and imprisonment for some breaches;
- Operating as a contractor, without a licence in Australia, leads to fines up to $7000 and working without a contract attracts fines of up to $1500;
- Operating as a contractor without a license can lead to forfeit of payment and void insurance;
- Association Members have access to legal advice, insurance (required by all workers), networking opportunities, industry consultation and peer advice, monthly magazines and advertising opportunity.
